​About the OPAL Institute

The OPAL (Older People And SexuaL Rights) Institute promotes the sexual rights of older people. The Institute is an initiative of Celebrate Ageing Ltd. The Institute's Director, Dr Catherine Barrett co-led the development of a global framework for sexual rights of older people (here) and the Institute draws on the framework to develop resources, conduct research, disseminate information, empower older people, educate service providers, and advocate for the sexual rights of older people.
